Presentation and coloring workshop by Nienke Hoogvliet

We have invited Nienke, founder of studio Nienke Hoogvliet, to shed her light on our research into coloring techniques with pigments from our farm. Since her studio was founded in 2013 they have a main focus on materials that can contribute to a more holistic world. The studio’s projects raise awareness of social and environmental problems in the textile, leather and food industry. By creating innovative alternatives they hope to change perspectives and systems. Studio Nienke Hoogvliet has been conducting research on natural seaweed dyes and coloring with herbs for years. The work of Studio Nienke Hoogvliet has been exhibited worldwide in institutions like Artipelag, Stockholm | Centre Pompidou, Parijs | Centraal Museum, Utrecht | Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, New York | Textielmuseum, Tilburg | Victoria & Albert Museum, London. Stay tuned for more details on how to join het workshops later this year.
